Aycliffe runners attended the Mermaid 10K in Marske on Good Friday.
Almost 230 runners took part in the race, with five runners from Aycliffe Running Club, all recording impressive times, and two runners achieving personal bests.

The runners set out in perfect sunny conditions and Mark Wade was first home for the club in an impressive time of 37:04.
This was a personal best over the distance and he placed 14th overall. He was followed in by Ste Smith in a time of 43:34 (87th).
Next was Robert Young completing the course in 44:06 (92nd), who was closely followed by Michelle Jane in 44:34 (98th), which was a personal best for her over this distance.
Bringing it home for the club was Rob Jayne in a time of 45:40 (111th).
