Newtonians are being reminded to make sure they don’t miss out on being able to vote in the forthcoming European Parliamentary elections.
You must be on the electoral register to vote in the elections, due to take place on Thursday 22nd May.

Anyone wishing to apply for a proxy vote needs to do so by Wednesday 14th May.
Polling stations will be open on Thursday 22nd May from 7am-10pm.
There are 766 MEPs which make up the European Parliament. These are elected by 28 European Union countries.
There are 73 MEPs for the UK, broken down into 12 regions and this is your chance to vote for the ones to represent the North East region.
