An event aimed at people wanting to help communities kick start renewable energy projects is taking place at Durham Town Hall.
It’s a free one-day training workshop for those working within local areas on community-led green projects.
It’s all part of Climate Week and is designed to give people more information on developing low carbon communities and planning for a more sustainable future.
The event is particularly aimed at community groups and partnerships working to develop green initiatives and is one of six taking part nationally, funded by The Department for Communities and Local Government.
It takes place at Durham Town Hall on March 15. Workshops will take place between 9.30am and 4.00pm.
For more details and to book a place contact the Centre for Sustainable Energy who are co-organising the event.
