Police want to speak to a “dirty blonde haired” woman who was spotted behaving suspiciously in Newton Aycliffe.
Officers were alerted to a female allegedly trying door handles in the Isherwood Court area of the town on Tuesday afternoon (21st April).
The woman is described by police as being of white appearance, stocky build, around 5’4″ in height having ‘dirty blonde’ hair tied back in a bun.
She was also wearing a white T-shirt, possibly grey jogging bottoms, and a cream coloured gilet, police said.
Anyone who might know anything about the woman or this incident can call police on 101, or via their Facebook page, in confidence.
