Neville Residents Association has been handed potentially life-saving equipment from a business owner with a passion for keeping people safe.
Tristan Pullich, who owns Falcon Medical Solutions, recently moved to Newton Aycliffe. He joined residents on a trip to Forbidden Corner, where he learned Neville Residents Association were fundraising for a defibrillator.
The 25-year-old. who has a first person on scene qualification, said he had saved three lives using a defibrillator.
Survival rates for those who have cardiac arrest are significantly increased if a defibrillator is used within minutes of a collapse.
Chairman of Neville Residents Association, Heather Brewster, welcomed the donation of the defibrillator, saying: “It will be available for use on all Residents bus trips.”
Fundraising is still carrying on to enable the purchase of pads and battery packs for the defibrillator.
