Seaton Carew 2nd XI v Newton Aycliffe 1st XI – weather was overcast and showery. Seaton Carew won the toss and elected to bat first.
Seaton Carew 2nd XI 146 for 8 all out after 50 overs
John Cavanagh 3 for 25 and Jack Slatcher 2 for 27.

Aycliffe had a nervous four wicket win over Marske 2nd XI and were thankful for a brilliant innings of 69 from man of the match Tom Young, who smashed five sixes and three boundaries in his match winning knock. On the bank holiday Monday the first team thumped Seaton Carew 2nd XI by nine wickets thanks to an outstanding all round display by man of the match John Cavanagh (sponsored by CVO Fire). Three successive wins gives the first team 328 points from 23 games and they remain in 6th place in the NYSD 2nd division table.

Preston 1st XI v Newton Aycliffe 2nd XI – weather was cool and cloudy. Preston won the toss and chose to bat first.

Newton Aycliffe 2nd XI v Billingham Synthonia 2nd XI – weather was overcast and showery. Aycliffe won the toss and chose to bat first.

Aycliffe earned a respectable draw away at Preston thanks to a fantastic career best innings of 93 not out from captain Adam Gittins (sponsored by Pheonix Energy). Opener Gittins carried his bat throughout the 55 overs, scoring six boundaries and his innings was the best by a second team player for 15 seasons. Aycliffe now have 247 points from 23 games and remain in 9th place in the NYSD 3rd division table.
