Barnard Castle 2nd XI v Newton Aycliffe 1st XI – weather was dry and sunny. Newton Aycliffe won the toss and asked Barnard Castle to bat first.

The first team was beaten away at third in the table Barnard Castle 2nd XI by just 15 runs in their penultimate game of the season in the NYSD 2nd division. All rounder Mark Woodhead (sponsored by Michaela’s Nails) was given the man of the match award for some excellent bowling, taking 3 for 25 from his six over spell.
