Wolviston 1st XI v Newton Aycliffe 1st XI – weather was warm and sunny. Wolviston won the toss and chose to bat first.

Newton Aycliffe 1st XI fought hard to earn a battling draw away at Wolviston 1st team. Chris Palmer (sponsored by Vanila Design and Print) earned the man of the match award for a match saving innings of 41, including five boundaries.
With seven games to go, Aycliffe first team now have 202 points, 24 clear of the drop zone, but Aycliffe have played a game more than their relegation rivals.
