Newton Aycliffe Cricket Club’s Under-15s team play their first-ever cup final tonight (Monday).
Aycliffe’s youngsters face Sunderland’s Under-15s side at Aycliffe Sports Club this evening, which was due to start at 5.30pm.
“They have done brilliantly to reach the final,” said the club’s secretary Lee Weldon.
“They beat Evenwood away in the quarter-final then they beat Burnmoor by 34 runs in the semi-final last Tuesday.”
