Newton Aycliffe 1st XI v Hartlepool 2nd XI – weather was cool and cloudy. Aycliffe won the toss and chose to bat first.

Newton Aycliffe’s first team finished their season with a disappointing seven wicket defeat at home to Hartlepool. Jack Slatcher (sponsored by Mr & Mrs Greaves) was given the man of the match award after top scoring with 10 not out and bowling well taking one wicket for just 11 runs.
The first team’s final stats read, played 22, won 7, drew 3 and lost 12, points 208 and they finished 9th in the 2nd division table.
