Great Aycliffe Town Council is inviting the views of local residents on a project it is currently considering to install public outdoor fitness equipment in West Park, next to the Boating Lake.
The project could receive funding from County Councillors in the County Newton Aycliffe West Division.
The proposed site is along the diagonal path which crosses West Park.
This location is just off the Great Aycliffe Way, which is used by various walking and community groups for general fitness purposes.
The equipment will be free to use and instruction in its operation will be available when it is initially installed.
The Town Council would like to hear, from as many residents and community groups as possible, particularly in the West Ward area, whether they think this equipment would be of benefit and, most importantly, if they would be likely to use it.
Please e-mail, telephone or post your views or comments to the Town Council
