Newton Aycliffe FC are set to launch an exciting new e-bulletin to keep supporters up-to-speed with club news.
The Newtonians want to send a weekly email to fans to include interesting articles and features on personalities from their club, as well as other important news and information.
They say the email, called ‘Newtoni@ns’, will be another important communication tool and a must-have for supporters.
Media manager Martin Walker said: “This is another exciting development for us and something most fans won’t want to miss out on.
“Our editorial team have already started working on the concept and we hope to have it up and running within a couple of weeks, so we want supporters to give us their email addresses.
“Of course, it will also give us a great platform to promote events, but primarily it’s a great way of keeping fans updated on all club news.”
Aycliffe plan to launch one e-bulletin a week, working in partnership with Aycliffe Today and sent out every Thursday starting next week, and also hope to send post-match bulletins containing links to match reports, picture galleries and interviews.
The club’s new programme and website editor, qualified sports journalist and Aycliffe fan Glen Robertson, added: “The e-bulletin is an exciting new project and something I’m looking forward to getting my teeth into.
“Work on our new match programme is already under way and this weekly e-mail will hopefully provide our fans with another valuable source of news and information direct to their desktop or smartphone.”
It only takes a minute to sign up to the e-bulletin – click here to do it now.
