RIVERSIDE THEATRE (pictured), 5/1fav with Ladbrokes
We mentioned Threefortea as a threat to Alles Garde on Wednesday and it duly obliged so we know we’re getting closer to a winner, and what better way to bring it up than with yesterday’s main man Barry Geraghty.
The Irish pilot brought home a superb 80/1 treble, including the Queen Mother Champion Chase.
On Thursday afternoon, Geraghty aims to stay hot for trainer Nicky Henderson as he mounts Riverside Theatre, the eight-year-ol Irish gelding. Beaten once in it’s last five outs (by Gold Cup Champion Long Run), Riverside Theatre saw off big rival Medermit (13/2) by three lengths just last month at Ascot, under slightly less weight it must be said.
That in the mix, we’re not worried than Geraghty will once more head the field coming up the famous hill as he looks to add to today’s hat-trick.
