Community groups working with children and young people in the Newton Aycliffe area can apply for grants of up to £1,000.
Great Aycliffe & Middridge Partnership (GAMP) and the Pioneering Care Partnership (PCP) have launched the ‘Small Grants Fund for Children & Young People.’
What is the Community Grant Fund?
The Small Grants Fund for Children & Young People provides grants to groups organising projects/activities within the GAMP area that improve the lifestyle, wellbeing and social inclusion of young people. The Small Grants Fund for Children & Young People will support a wide range of community focused initiatives.
Examples of What Can Be Funded:
• Projects that improve the health and wellbeing of young people
• Initiatives that promote an increase in physical activity
• Costs of running activities to improve knowledge and skills around managing health
• Equipment that supports a particular activity
How much can you apply for?
Applicants can only apply for amounts between £500 and £1,000. Please note groups can only make one application for this funding and funding will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
