Newton Aycliffe police officers have swooped to arrest a young man suspected of blighting the town with a spate of recent vehicle crimes.
Neighbourhood Police Team Sergeant Mark Edwards told us in his latest blog on Aycliffe Today about an increase in the number of incidents involving thefts from cars.
And officers have today arrested a 17-year-old man in connecting with several vehicle break-ins on the town.
“We’ll keep you posted,” said a statement on the police’s Facebook page.
