AYCLIFFE WOMAN DIES AFTER ‘FALL’

A Newton Aycliffe woman died after she’s thought to have fallen down the stairs.

Emergency services were called to Moules Close in Monday night after reports of a death.

It’s reported that a 43-year-old woman had been found by family members at the bottom of the stairs. She was confirmed dead at the scene.

A post-mortem has been carried out and at this stage the death is being treated as unexplained. An inquest will follow in due course.
