Darlington-based recruitment agency Recruitrite has been honoured with a Digital Transformation award at the 2023 Tees Tech Awards, recognising its exceptional adoption of Aycliffe firm Excelpoint’s no-code technology to transform business operations.
The awards, organised by Tees Business – sister publication to Aycliffe Business – is an event celebrating the thriving technology sector in the Tees Valley region, bringing together industry leaders, visionaries and innovators.
This year’s Tees Tech Awards, in association with DigitalCity and Middlesbrough Digital, were delivered in front of more than 300 guests at Kirkleatham Walled Garden’s pavilion near Redcar.
Recruitrite’s Digital Transformation award recognises companies outside the digital sector that have demonstrated outstanding achievements in leveraging digital technologies to drive innovation, efficiency, and growth.
The accolade recognises Recruitrite’s innovative approach to business and its exceptional transformation of processes through its collaboration with its software partner Excelpoint, a renowned software development company based on Aycliffe Business Park, known for its expertise in delivering cutting-edge solutions using its no-code software platform.
Before undertaking this change, Recruitrite was experiencing challenges associated with rapid growth.
It knew it needed to embrace a future-proofed approach, so working in partnership with Excelpoint, it implemented a no-code system to digitalise its end-to-end recruitment process.
The collaboration with Excelpoint has been instrumental in the success of Recruitrite’s digital transformation.
Excelpoint’s technical expertise, combined with Recruitrite’s deep understanding of Recruitment delivery, has resulted in a solution that has improved efficiency and delivered exceptional customer and employee experiences.
Recruitrite managing director Melissa Coutts – pictured above (right) with Andrew Rowe from category sponsor Azets – said: “We are thrilled to receive a TeesTech Award.
“The recognition is a testament to our commitment to our clients, candidates and team.
“Excelpoint’s no-code software has transformed our operations, enabling us to streamline our processes, enhance efficiency, and fuel our business growth.
“Importantly, it has enabled us to provide an enhanced candidate experience, providing us with more time to get to know our candidates and better match them to the right client.”
Process automation has enabled Recruitrite to operate more efficiently, freeing up time to identify, research and enter new markets, with it now delivering solutions for the construction industry and healthcare sector.
Since the transformation, the construction industry’s work has grown significantly, becoming the largest income stream within the business, and its Rite Pay division now consistently payrolls around 1,500 workers every week.
