Students from Greenfield Community College studied the environment as part of their human Geography fieldwork.
More than 40 young people from the school’s Sunnydale Campus and Aycliffe site were treated to a bright and sunny trip to Newcastle.
Students investigated environmental quality during the trip and carried out surveys using questionnaires with the generous assistance of the Geordie public.
The survey included questions about buildings and refurbishments; litter and graffiti and how much the city has changed from the outskirts to the central business district.
