As part of the Leadership Academy at Woodham, Year 11 students at Woodham Academy organised a foodbank to help those within our local community.
With the unprecedented challenges that 2020 has faced, the school’s ambassadors recognised the need to get involved and help others.
In school, they advertised the foodbank and asked for food parcels from all year groups to contribute in their effort to help others.
All donations are going to St Clare’s Church in the town, who will distribute the goods accordingly to those in need.
Miss Aitken, Head of History, said: “We are extremely proud of the generosity of our students who have been eager to participate and get involved with this excellent cause.”
