Newton Aycliffe’s game with Darlington today is ON!
Match referee Elton Martin has inspected the Moore Lane Park pitch, making a special journey from Billingham to do so, and has given the Ebac Northern League Division One match the nod.
Officials have been working tirelessly over the last few days to get the game on, and credit goes to groundsman Chris Palmer, grounds co-ordinator John Gaskarth and NAFC officials Gary Farley and Dan Lewis for their efforts.
The game will be the first-ever competitive meeting between the two sides in Aycliffe.
