An Aycliffe man has been jailed for four years for robbery.
The Newton Aycliffe Neighbourhood Policing Team have told Aycliffe Today that James Pearman, 22, from Aycliffe, attended Crown Court for the offence of robbery on Thursday 3rd May, and was sentenced to four years imprisonment.
Meanwhile, the NPT have told us that on Sunday 29th May, a male was arrested in Winterburn Place for public order offence after a call was received to the area.
The man, who was intoxicated, was shouting and swearing at members of the public. He was issued with a £80 fixed penalty notice.
