A Newton Aycliffe man has been fined for assaulting a neighbourhood warden after appearing in court.
As reported by NPT Sergeant Mark Edwards in his blog on Aycliffe Today, Clive David Cooper, 37, from Aycliffe, appeared at the town’s Magistrates’ Court last Friday (June 28) charged with assault.
He was fined £128, ordered to pay £100 compensation, ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge, and required to pay £85 court costs.
