A Newton Aycliffe man appeared at court after he was caught stealing moisturiser from the town’s Savers store.
As revealed by NPT Sergeant Mark Edwards in his latest blog, David Ian Edwards, 30, appeared before the town’s Magistrates on October 2 for stealing two tubes of moisturiser from Savers.
He was ordered to pay £9.98 compensation to Savers, discharged conditionally for six months, ordered to pay a £15 victim surcharge, and required to pay £85 court costs.
