After another enforced lay-off for all the Aycliffe Juniors teams due to the weather, everyone was excited to get back on the pitch and enjoy some football this week before the Easter break.

The Quakers though came back strongly to score six second half goals with Dylan getting one in reply for Aycliffe and the game ending 6-3.
The Under 9’s teams were in Russell Foster Spring Cup action at Castleview. The ‘Clarets’ were playing Wrekenton Nou Camp and they dominated the game with good link up play on show. Despite their dominance the game ended 1-1 with Kai scoring and Jude the man of the match.

Billingham though got level before half time with two well taken goals. The Under 12’s TJFA League team had Grangetown Boys Club visit them. It was an even start but two quick goals were conceded and an Aycliffe penalty was then missed before half time. A goal from Will after a good break by Lucas looked to get them back into the game. However it wasn’t to be and they slipped to a 5-1 defeat.
