Saturday 20th May – NYSD Division 2
Maltby 1st XI v Newton Aycliffe 1st XI – weather was dry and mild. Maltby won the toss and chose to bowl first.

Maltby 1st XI 67 for 4 after 17.4 overs
Michael Howe (pictured above) 3 for 30 and Luke Telford 1 for 3
The first team lost a crucial toss and had to bat first on a very tricky wicket and were subsequently bowled out for only 66. Maltby won the game by 6 wickets despite some good bowling from man of the match Michael Howe (sponsored by Bob and Yvonne Wood) who finished with 3 wickets for 30 runs from his impressive 8.4 over spell.
Saturday 20th May – NYSD Division 4
Newton Aycliffe 2nd XI v Seaton Carew 2nd XI – weather was dry and sunny. Aycliffe won the toss and chose to bat first.

Seaton Carew 2nd XI 90 for 2 after 19.5 overs
Dylan Tribley 1 for 22
The seconds lost at home to promotion chasing Seaton Crew 2nd XI by 8 wickets. Dan Weldon earned the man of the match after an impressive, but luckless, bowling performance during which he finished with the economical figures of 0 for 21 from his aggressive 8 over spell.
