Newton Aycliffe’s pre-season preparations continue with a trip to newly-promoted side Richmond Town on Saturday.
Aycliffe comfortably beat Northern Alliance League side Percy Main Amateurs on Wednesday night.
And Allan Oliver will take his side to Richmond this weekend as he continues his build-up to the new season, which kicks off in two weeks.
Richmond will compete in the Wearside League this coming season following a successful promotion application from the Teesside League.
The club enjoyed great success last season winning an unprecedented Quadruple of trophies including the Teesside League Division One, Lou Mooure Trophy, Macmillan Bowl and The Saturday County Cup.
They’ve already drawn 2-2 with Northern League first division side Marske United this summer.
