Defoe Court care home in Newton Aycliffe is celebrating having achieved the highest possible average user rating on carehome.co.uk.
Carehome.co.uk is the sectors leading reviews website, listing all registered UK care homes, helping people search for the right care home for themselves or their loved ones.

Residents at the care home were also pleased to hear the good news, with John commenting that his home is worth more than 10/10.
Defoe Court home manager Sarah Todd said: “Due to Covid-19 it was a challenge to receive reviews with restrictions not allowing visitors, which makes this achievement a real testament to the love, care and attention that our amazing provide for our Residents and their loved ones.”
