The 64th issue of Aycliffe Business features Glow on the front cover, as the multi-functional event space on Aycliffe Business Park reveals a major investment in new facilities.
Glow – formerly known as the Xcel Centre – is becoming brighter, as a result of investment in state-of-the-art equipment and audio-visual technology, notably an LED screen measuring 12 metres by 4.5 metres within a main auditorium that has a capacity to seat 1,000 people.
Peter Barron talks to Ian Duffew, chair of Innovate, the business arm of Glow, which is both a popular church and a multi-faceted conference and events facility.
In issue 64 of Aycliffe Business, we also speak to local family-run car sales and repairs firm Ramsey’s, which is celebrating 30 years in business.
And we hear from Manchester-based property developers Prime Group, who have targeted a piece of land at the heart of Aycliffe Business Park for development.
Meanwhile, BTS Facades boss Phil Atkinson answers our 20 questions over a cuppa in the latest ‘Getting To Know You’ feature.
Thanks to our sponsors for issue #64, which include Gestamp, Stiller Warehousing and Distribution, BTS, Business Durham, C&A Embroidery & Print, Excelpoint, The Work Place, Kudos Accountants, NC Group, Care Connect, Jacksons Law Firm and Pullman House Serviced Apartments.
