Two men have been charged after they assaulted a Newton Aycliffe man in the town.
As revealed in his blog on Aycliffe Today, Neighbourhood Police Team Inspector Mark Edwards revealed that a 20-uear-old local man was left with bruising and lost teeth after the incident on Stephenson Way, on Tuesday 7th July.
The alleged culprits, a 19-year-old from the Morrison Close area and another man, aged 20, from Hawkshead Place, have both been charged.
