Thousands of music-lovers will descend on two parks in Staffordshire later this year after tickets for the biggest festival in England sold out.
Ex expected, general tickets for the 2012 V Festival quickly sold out last week as fans flocked to secure their place to see a string of headline acts at the August gig.
The V Festival, held on the penultimate weekend of August, has been criticised in recent years, with organisers being accused of getting greedy by confiscating food and drinks before entry and then pumping up prices on site.
A lot of festival-goers instead opt for other events on the final bank holiday weekend of the year – Creamfields, at Daresbury in Cheshire, is held on the weekend of August 24, 25 and 26, as are both Leeds and Reading festivals.
Either way, hundreds of Newtonians will be heading for one of them later this year, and we want to hear your stories!
We want to share your experience – stories, pictures and videos – with all our readers (within reason!).
