Woodham Academy are hosting their annual Christmas Fair this weekend.
Visitors can meet Santa in his grotto and meet some of his elves at the school on Saturday (December) between 10am and 1pm.
Also attending the festive gathering are a number of former students who will be selling arts and crafts, jewellery, hampers, homeware, confectionary gifts and much more.
One former student, and local author and illustrator, Ruth Ellen Parlour, is hoping to meet some young readers to promote her range of children’s books, The Water Dragons.
Another student stepping back through the school gates is Kathryn Moore who is raising money for a trip to Fiji next year where she will be volunteering with local schools.
The event is free of charge with a variety of workshops taking place and fun for all the family.
Little ones can enjoy biscuit decorating or chocolate lolly making whilst Mum and Dad browse the stalls with a glass of mulled wine.
Stalls include Thames Centre Fruit and Veg who will have some of their fantastic fruit hampers available to buy as well as taking orders for their Christmas deliveries.
Pop in before 12pm to watch Aycliffe Dance Academy perform their routines and hear local vocalist, Sarah Dee, perform her debut single ‘Lost’ which is released on the December 28.
