Nothing jazzes up a plain ol’ social media post like a branded image, but what if you don’t have the budget for design work?
A recent Buzzsumo study found that Facebook posts with images see 2.3 times more engagement than those without images, and with organic reach declining, it’s never been more important to focus on boosting audience interaction.
If you don’t have a graphic designer on hand, there are many free online tools that every marketer, whatever your skill set, can use to create eye-catching visuals quickly and easily.
Snappa
Snappa has been designed to ‘save you time every step of the way’, with premade templates and the ability to share straight to your social media profiles without leaving the site.
Its clean interface is perfect for beginners who want to keep their designs simple and straightforward, plus there’s a great selection of fonts, images and vectors to choose from – and there’s no need to create multiple images for different platforms as you can easily resize your existing design to suit them all.
Canva
One of my personal favourite tools is Canva, which has a whole host of features to turn anyone into a designer!
If you don’t know where to start, Canva has a wide choice of design grids to split your page into thirds, quarters or whatever layout you desire. This is a great feature if you want to add multiple images or vectors into your design.
Crello
Bring your posts to life as the final tool on our list, Crello, allows you to create exciting animated designs. With pre-made templates, you can easily design some animations to make your social media stand out amongst your competitors.
If you’d rather stick to static images for now, you can design visuals for all of the main platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube, Pinterest and much more.
As a middle manager, some design tasks may slightly tricky. Why not get in touch with our team on 01325 778 786 to find out more about our design services?
