Ever thought about bringing someone special into your life by adopting a child? The council has children waiting to hear from someone like you.
Durham County Council’s adoption service is holding a special session next week for anyone thinking about adoption. You will be able to find out more about adoption, the children waiting for adoption and the range of support we offer to adoptive parents.
The event will take place in the Adoption Resource Centre, Langley Moor next Wednesday (March 7) where social workers will be available to offer advice along with adoptive parents who can share their experiences.
Anyone interested in coming along can book an appointment between 4.30pm and 6.30pm by contacting the adoption team.
