Woodham Academy’s PE Department is celebrating after three students qualified for the County Durham Athletics Championships.
Lisa Robinson (200m), Blake Airey (High Jump) and Harry Condren (800m) have all qualified in their age range to represent the Durham County squad at the event which is due to be held at Monkton Stadium on Sunday (13th June) from 10.30am-2.30pm.
Should they be successful, there is further opportunity to represent the county at the Inter-County Championships later in the month.
“The PE Department would like to take this opportunity to wish those students good luck at this upcoming event,” said the school.
