Greenfield Arts have had a sizzling summer of activity this year, sharing creativity in the community.
There has been a fabulous range of activities for all ages including painting and drawing, yoga, sketching, fun with photos, and our Finders, Seekers creative activities.
Greenfield Arts took to the road as they were part of a brilliant day at Shildon, making mini miner’s lamps and banners at The Little Big Meeting, this was followed by a workshop the next day at Shildon Civic Centre, thank you so much for the support of Shildon Town Council and the people of Shildon.
Young people have been able to have fun and learn new skills and ideas that they can take forward.
Greenfield say feedback has been positive with some lovely comments such as “I loved every part of it”, “I felt proud of myself” and “I learnt more about art, photography and Ioved the printing”.
Many of the participants felt that their confidence had been boosted and would be able to use their skills and strategies going forward, the school added.
“It has been lovely to see the response and engagement from our participants, we are looking forward to sharing our autumn programme and continuing to inspire people of all generations through creativity,” the school said.
