A local couple expecting their first baby have been welcomed as the first buyers on Chapter Homes’ prestigious ‘Eden Field’ development in Newton Aycliffe.
Michael and Kirsty Bagnall, who are due a baby girl in late September, have bought a three-bedroom detached ‘Cuthbert’ house on the development and will be amongst the first residents to move in later this year.
The couple had been looking for their first family home for a while and were about to buy another new build property nearby.
But Michael, who has lived in Newton Aycliffe all his life and remembers playing on the Eden Field site as a child, drives past the development every day and quickly noticed the progress on site.
Michael said: “I already know it’s a lovely area, I live around the corner and my parents live just across the road. We noticed the site, were impressed with what we saw and the information Chapter gave us on the development and properties available.
“We immediately knew that Chapter Homes was right for our new chapter. The design and layout of the house is perfect for us, exactly what we were looking for, and I know that it will be a great place to raise our family.”
Richard Roddam, chief development officer at Chapter Homes, said: “There is something for everyone at Eden Field with different house styles to suit all needs and budgets. We’re delighted to have had such a lot of interest so far and pleased that Michael and Kirsty are choosing Chapter Homes for their first family home.”
Eden Field in Newton Aycliffe will consist of 125 high quality two, three and four bedroom homes.
The houses include detached and semi-detached properties, all with driveway parking, good sized gardens and high quality fixtures and fittings as standard.
